KISS "Keep It Simple Stup**"

OK, first thing to do is to consider the space, (including walls and doors) you are trying to condition. Envision the air flow between where the air will eventually come in and where it will be exhausted once you install the ductwork. Lastly, based on the inlet and exhaust locations, figure out where you want to position the unit you are going to use.
Now there are lot's of installation tips an experienced professional can offer you while going through this process, but common sense and a good route for running the duct work needed if the most time consuming challenge involved in this project. Consider the following:
-Locations for inlet and outlet exhaust locations
-Having your length of ductwork, (aka run) with fewer bends in it.
-Using smooth metal ducts as much as possible instead of flexible ductwork
-using a simple outlet style timer to run the unit during the best times of the day to avoid damp mornings etc.
-Having the unit mounted at a height and location that allows for easy maintenance, (not that it needs much mind you)

SHR - 159 CFM - Heat Recovery
By Carrie

Review Posted 11/13/2014
We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.
