- Energy-Efficient Circulation
- PSC blower motors are energy hogs. The ECM motor in the AVPTC provides more efficient, more intelligent airflow for your home.
- UltraTech Compressor
- A two-stage Copeland UltraTech scroll compressor provides the GSXC16 with incredibly reliable refrigerant flow. The second stage increases efficiency by allowing the compressor to operate at a lower capacity when your demand is low.
- Filter Drier
- A filter drier is installed in the liquid line of this air conditioner. It serves two important purposes: removing moisture and trapping impurities. This prevents corrosion, freezing, and blockages that can negatively impact operation.
- Quiet Comfort
- Goodman takes great pride in providing comfort that doesn't disrupt your home. The wire fan discharge grille and condenser fan motor of the GSXC16 were designed to reduce noise levels without compromising performance.
- ComfortAlert
- The included ComfortAlert compressor diagnostics module reduces the average time of maintenance calls and virtually eliminates misdiagnoses by experienced technicians, saving you money throughout the life of the air conditioner.
- ComfortBridge Compatible
- This air conditioner is compatible with Goodman's ComfortBridge communicating controls. ComfortBridge shortens the installation and maintenance processes. It automatically detects your equipment and then provides diagnostics while troubleshooting.
- Energy-Efficient Circulation
- By scaling the airflow to the unique demands and challenges of your home, the advanced variable speed blower motor in the AVPTC provides ideal airflow through shifting conditions in nearly any application.
- Internal Thermostatic Expansion Valve
- The AVPTC has a factory-installed internal thermostatic expansion valve. This streamlines installation and maintains ideal refrigerant flow for your system.
- SmartFrame
- This air handler features Goodman's SmartFrame sub-structure for enhanced accessibility. It provides tool-less access to the filter rack and includes a coil mounting track that improves installation speed for all four compatible orientations.
- Condensate Management
- The AVPTC's design includes molded diverters, foil-faced insulation, and screw-less construction of the cabinet's side and rear sections. These elements help prevent the formation of condensation and keep your system running smoothly.
