- Energy-Efficient Circulation
- PSC blower motors are energy hogs. The ECM motor in the ASPT provides more efficient, more intelligent airflow for your home.
- Advanced Coil Design
- The condenser coil of this air conditioner is designed with aluminum fins and rifled copper tubing to maximize efficiency. The fins and rifling serve to increase surface area, allowing the heat transfer capabilities of the materials to shine.
- High-Efficiency Compressor
- This unit utilizes a high-efficiency scroll compressor to provide refrigerant flow. Scroll compressors are renowned for operating more smoothly and reliably than traditional compressors.
- Filter Drier
- A filter drier is installed in the liquid line of this air conditioner. It serves two important purposes: removing moisture and trapping impurities. This prevents corrosion, freezing, and blockages that can negatively impact operation.

- The ASPT's design includes molded diverters, foil-faced insulation, and screw-less construction of the cabinet's side and rear sections. These elements help prevent the formation of condensation and keep your system running smoothly.
- Extended Warranty
- Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.
- Internal Thermostatic Expansion Valve
- The ASPT Series Air Handler has a factory-installed internal thermostatic expansion valve. This streamlines installation and maintains ideal refrigerant flow for your system.
