I purchased this unit for my house in Texas and it worked perfectly. 3,000 square foot house with two central units (one for upstairs and one for down) and the unit performed great. I moved to Louisiana and purchased the exact same unit. The power goes off at least once a week here in south Louisiana and when the neighbors are dark and hot, we are cool and well lit....The house in Texas sold and the buyers told me that the deciding factor in purchasing my house and the dozens of other houses they had to choose from was this generator.

I purchased the same package for my house in Texas a couple years ago and it was super. The auto start and switch feature works like a charm every time the power goes out. It runs the whole house (3,000 sq ft with two AC units) and when the power returns, the unit runs for a while just in case the power goes off again.
I moved a couple months ago to Louisiana and I purchased the exact same unit. I have peace of mind knowing that I have power even if the rest of the area doesn't. When I sold my Texas house, the buyer said that the generator was the deciding factor in making the decision to purchase my house vs the dozens of other houses they had to choose from. Just an added benefit from having this unit.
