The Fantech EDF8 is compatible with most HRV's and ERV's. The EDF8 has 3 modes of operation: Ventilation mode, Recirculation mode and Standby. When in AUTO Mode, the dehumidistat will activate at normal speed ventilation when the indoor humidity is above your desired set point. You are able to deactivate this mode to lower your energy usage.
