My previous review for this generator was, in hindsight, a bit unfair as I got a different phone number for Briggs & Stratton technical support, and they walked me through the alarm codes I got, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and walked me through the step-by-step process to manually configure the unit to operate on LP vs Natural Gas. He then told me how to make the configuration change in the control panel and everything works flawlessly now.
The issue was that the electrician we paid to hook it up didn't read the Installation/Operation manual, and even though they asked what the fuel source was when they hooked it up, they didn't flip the switches at the fuel regulator on the side of the unit or the "NG/LP switch" inside the back panel of the unit. I called 4 different electricians who were authorized B & S service centers and not one was willing to walk me through anything over the phone or come out to take a look in the next 4 months.
So, thank Goodness for the B & S tech who had the patience and knowledge to walk me through it today! The number you need to call is 1-800-759-2744 if you run into any problems like I did. Can't fault them for the poor work of the electricians we hired. Just glad it's now working as it's supposed to and now I know a few things about the operation and configuration that should be helpful in the future.

Briggs and Stratton 26KW is all you need. We turned everything on in the house and detached 2 stall garage which has AC. Turned both ACs on Emergency heating mode and Briggs and Stratton was only running at 50% load. The Genpad was for a Generac but fits perfectly for the Briggs and Stratton. Electric Generators Direct was cheaper than anywhere else and has experts standing by to answer any questions. Ordered Generator and Pad from them on 16 February 2022 and delivered that following Monday on the 21st of February 2022. Outstanding performance from Electric Generators Direct.
