LG has just made it easier than ever to add a ductless heat pump system to your home.
They have developed two new wall-mounted product lines that bring inverter-driven efficiency to difficult applications.
The Mega 115V line includes 9,000 and 12,000 BTU capacity systems that can be powered from a standard outlet. Their other new line, Extended Pipe, has 24,000, 30,000, and 36,000 BTU systems that allow piping runs of 164" with a vertical difference of 98.4".
Thanks to these exciting new products, electrical and piping concerns don't have to keep you from adding a ductless heat pump system to your home.
While these systems are specialized for specific installation requirements, that doesn't mean that their functionality isn't as robust as LG's standard wall-mounted units. The Mega 115V and Extended Pipe lines are some of the most advanced on the market today, and it shows in their specs and features.
Both lines also enjoy a number of features that make it easier for you to get comfortable and stay comfortable. LG's rapid temperature change technology makes an appearance in the form of the Jet Heat and Jet Cool functions.
These modes adjust the set point and increase the fan speed of the systems for 30 minutes to get your zone to the right temperature quickly. Additionally, auto operation and Chaos Swing modes are present for all five systems.
With auto operation, these systems use an advanced algorithm that weighs the current and desired temperatures of your zone and the rate of temperature change to automatically provide consistent comfort.
Chaos Swing shifts both the speed and direction of airflow to replicate natural wind patterns in the comfort of your own home.
The Mega 115V and Extended Pipe lines aren't just about temperature control; they also dehumidify and clean your air. Dehumidification mode takes advantage of an indoor unit's temperature sensor and selects a set point and fan speed that will remove moisture from the air. Moisture isn't the only thing removed from the air though, as both lines employ LG's washable anti-fungal filter that captures pollutants and irritants. All five indoor units also feature a self-cleaning coil that eliminates mold and dirt.
Up until now, electrical restrictions or piping requirements prevented many homes from enjoying the zoned comfort of a mini split system. Now thanks to LG, all of the benefits of these systems are available to homes with standard outlets or unique layouts.
