A thermostat does not come included with this unit. The Williams P322016 thermostat is compatible and can be found under the "Accessories" tab. Alternatively, any standard millivolt thermostat can be used.

Last fall I commented to you about the heat exchanger banging when it heated up. You told me it would stop. Later I wrote and reported that the banging had stopped and I was happy about the heater. Now mid-March I am still happy with my heater. It has performed perfectly. The one thing I would like to see is an air filter to protect the fan motor. Thank You. D Jones

Very good product. Very good heater. The heat exchanger thumps when it is heating up. Hopefully that will go away. I changed out the Williams T-Stat for a programable type. It gives me much closer "cut-in cut-out" temperature control'

The pilot light wouldnt stay on after 10 attempts if finally stayed on for 10 minutes then went out. Called ecomfort, they washed their hands of any problems and said they dont have time to talk to me more than 5 min and would not issue replacement to call manufacturer. After calling 7 times they told me to hire a licensed plumber ($150 additional) to identify issues, they fianally agreed to send thermocouple and gas valve, going on 2 weeks after purchased to resolve. i requested a replacement for a defective product and it was not an option and was told they would only send parts because the warranty only covered parts, not labor
