    Designed and made in the USA, the Weil-McLain CGi-Gold Liquid Propane Hot Water Boiler is a highly efficient 167,000 BTU/hour, gas-fired boiler with cast iron sections for your heating needs. With an 83.3% AFUE, this boiler can be used in a variety of applications including residential heating, smaller commercial heating, and indirect-fired water heating. This unit is designed for applications from 0 to 2,000 feet in elevation and comes equipped with power venting, providing 140,000 BTU/hour in DOE heating capacity.

Is this unit a direct vent with PVC?

Answer
The Weil-McLain CGi-Series of boilers is power vented. They cannot be vented with PVC, instead, they require the appropriate metal venting depending on whether they are vented vertically through a roof or horizontally through a sidewall. Refer to page 14-15 in the installation manual for further information.
