Many chimney vented boilers seem space conscious, but draft hoods can extend their height and make them a tight fit for boiler rooms and basements. MGB boilers have an integral draft hood, which keeps the boiler's profile low and provides flexibility in selecting an installation location.
Intelligent Control Algorithm
The MGB's control features an algorithm which helps to deliver consistent, efficient heating. This algorithm will recirculate water with residual heat when possible, instead of firing the burner. This keeps fuel use down and prevents the sudden spikes and drops in temperature which may be experienced with less advanced control techniques.

Utica boiler was chosen as it was a straight replacement for the utica boiler at the site. Existing boiler was damaged by flood.
Replacement boiler was delayed twice in shipping due to shipping carrier issues, after delivery, crating was removed and damage to the boiler case and pressure valve was noted, luckily this was able to be repaired by the installer, aside from that the install was easy and it has preformed well.
The price was good, shipping to the site was an issue, and I would recommend removing all packing and creating before signing for the delivery as some damage are not easily noted without doing this.

I have a rental property that needed a new boiler and the old one was needing to be manually started every other day. Ecomfort delivered a new one ready to be installed in 4 days. Great boiler no problems.
