My original water tank was also a Triangle Tube SMART product. I was hoping the fittings would line up to make the install easier but they weren't. That tank lasted over 20 years. I'm hoping this one lasts that long too. I looked at tanks from other manufacturers but this one seemed to be the best value. The free delivery with a liftgate truck was the icing on the cake. I'm happy with my purchase.

I ordered Triangle Tube's SMART 50 indirect water heater six months ago when my previous tank was near failure and leaking profusely after 23.5 years of service. It was delivered promptly to my home in perfect condition. My plumber installed it that week and it has reliably provided hot water ever since.
I have a boiler system that heats my home via 3 separate circuits, and another circuit dedicated to this tank. My plumber recommended this brand as a result of his experience, and I have been very satisfied so far. This well-insulated tank has reduced my utility bills as well.

We live in a ski town and though usually only two retirees in the home, we sometimes have 12-15 skiers and snow-players as guests. We need lots of hot water. Our plumber was concerned about the touted online performance rating of the Smart 80 (gallons first hour, etc.).
Not to worry! With proper attention to the pump capacity and boiler supply and return pipe sizing, we are delivering 100,000 BTH/H with our Triangle Tube Prestige 175, and we have all the hot water a 3-bath home can use with this setup. Love the construction, look/feel, and long warranty. Great unit!

Replaced a 22 year old Triangle tube heater with the Smart 40. My furnace hardly ever runs to keep my hot water hot unless I am using it. Really holds the heat. I have had it installed about a month now and I think it was a great purchase. A little expensive, but if it last as long as my last one, I'll be happy.

It works good except mine started leaking all over the floor inside of 2 yrs and now my contractor says he hasn't heard from the dealer for the warranty. No drain in on the unit so I can't just move it out of my basement.
