Triangle Tube is best known for two things: feats of hydronic innovation and incredibly efficient products. The Challenger Combi Boiler brings tankless water heating to the compact, high-efficiency Challenger series of boilers. Triangle Tube retained the low NOx, low noise design of the original Challenger and added on board domestic hot water production for even greater value. The condensing technology behind Challenger Combi boilers will capture and reuse gaseous heat that escapes traditional boilers. A unique cast-aluminum heat exchanger with copper waterways provides efficient heating and exceptional durability. Vertical flueways mean that you'll enjoy those benefits in a compact design. The ease-of-installation means that there is more reason than ever to add a high-efficiency Challenger Combi boiler to your system.
  • Intelligent DHW Control
  • In ECO mode, the Challenger Combi will learn what times of day have the highest hot water demands. It will then maintain a minimum heat exchanger temperature at those times for instantaneous hot water even at high volume times.
  • Outdoor Reset Control
  • All Challenger Combi boilers include an outdoor reset sensor and outdoor reset control. This allows your boiler to regulate the temperature of your home based on the temperature outdoors which saves energy without sacrificing comfort.
  • Precision Through Sensors
  • Along with its outdoor sensor, sensors at the Challenger's supply and return measure temperature and relay that information to your boiler so it can further refine its output and guarantee comfort and efficiency.
  • Modulating Burner
  • The Challenger can make fine adjustments to heating output because of its modulating burner. This burner allows minute, incremental changes in heat production with a 4:1 turndown ratio to guarantee that you aren't using more energy than you need to be.
  • Dual Purpose Waterways
  • With a Challenger Combi, your domestic hot water is heated directly in the waterways of the heat exchanger. This eliminates the need for a secondary heat exchanger and additional equipment that is typical in other combination boilers.
  • Venting Options
  • The CC 125H vents conveniently through your wall with PVC, CPVC, PP, and SS material options. These boilers support concentric venting, which reduces the number of vent pipes from two to one, and further reduces the space necessary for installation.
  • Product Includes
  • (1) Triangle Tube CC 125H Hot Water Combi Boiler
  • (1) Outdoor Reset Sensor
  • (1) Wall Mounting Bracket
  • (1) NG to LP Gas Conversion Kit

Product Line
Challenger Combi
Medium Medium refers to the substance that carries heat through the heating system. Systems are either designed to use either Hot Water or Steam as a medium, and components are usually specific to one or the other.
Hot Water
Fuel Type To create heat, some form of fuel is required. Fuel Type specifies what the product uses as an input to create heat.
Natural Gas
Combustion Type
Condensing
Vent Type Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.
Direct Vent
DHW Production DHW (Domestic Hot Water) is potable water for uses other than space heat. Some boilers are able to provide DHW "out of the box", while others can do so with the purchase of optional accessories.

Modulating/Staging Stages are unique speeds or levels that equipment can operate at. More stages allow for better fine-tuned control of output, which improves comfort and efficiency. Modulating equipment can operate across a range of levels, giving the highest level of fine-tuned control. Learn More

Maximum Input Capacity The Maximum Input Capacity describes how quickly the appliance will use fuel when delivering it's maximum capacity. The units may change depending on the fuel being used.
125000 BTU
Minimum Input Capacity
20000 BTU
DOE Heating Capacity Also referred to as Gross Output, this is the output of a boiler after accounting for combustion efficiency. We recommend sizing hot water boilers based on the DOE Heating Capacity.
111000 BTU
Net I=B=R Capacity I=B=R, also referred to as Net Output or AHRI Capacity, is the rated heat output of a boiler after accounting for combustion efficiency, piping loss, and an extra pickup factor. We recommend sizing steam boilers based on the I=B=R rating.
97000 BTU
AFUE AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) measures the efficiency of combustion equipment over the entire heating season, and is calculated by dividing the amount of energy that is actually heating your home by the total energy contained in the fuel used by the boiler/furnace. Learn More

Ultra Low NOx Emissions NOx is a byproduct of the combustion process, and it's output is regulated in some jurisdictions. Many regulators mirror SCAQMD rules, which regulate air quality for some parts of Southern California. Ultra Low NOx appliances emit less than 10-14 ng/J (nanogram per Joule) of NOx. Learn More
