Just the ticket for heating my workshop!

I needed a heater to efficiently warm up my 2-car garage turned workshop. This Revolv E7 turned out to be just the ticket. To make it portable, I tipped the cabinet on its side and attached 3" locking casters. Made a 25' pigtail of 10-guage 3-conductor wire and plugged into a dedicated 240v 60amp circuit. I am using a simple thermostat I've mounted to the case (not ideal, but suits the purpose).
I can roll the unit where I need it -- to warm the entire space, or to concentrate heat in selected areas. Makes the hours at a band saw, drill press, etc, much more bearable! It's relatively quiet and very efficient.
I rigged a dropcloth curtain to isolate what I call the "drying room". I can orient the unit at the curtain to heat only one side or the other. Very handy to help dry glue-ups and finishes MUCH quicker without having to heat the entire space.
When not in use, I unplug and coil the pigtail onto a hose reel I mounted on the side of the unit. I roll it under a small workbench where it's out of the way, but very handy to put into instant use.
This setup is not perfect, mind you, but it is the proverbial bee's knees for my needs! This Revolv E7 unit is very efficient and provides all I need to stay comfortable. I am delighted!
There are only two minor downsides to my overall experience:
First, it took nearly 8 weeks from placing my order to the delivery at my front door. I'd like to see more prompt delivery somehow.
Second, I would caution that the setup I have constructed can add significant overall expense. You must use a dedicated 60amp breaker in your panel, preferably wired with 10-guage wire to the outlet. You will need an appropriate 240volt outlet, and the 25' 3-conductor pigtail needs a plug to match. The cost adds up pretty quickly. If your space is not already wired, adding the circuit can involve an expensive electrician. By all means, verify and comply with all your local building codes.

The website was the best to make sure I got the right replacement furnace. My current furnace is 1976 Coleman which the one I just bouught is a home Coleman. I recieved 7 days from ordering in Eastern Washington. Thank for the GREAT service.

I was very surprised how quickly the unit arrived. Product was exactly as described and very easy to install. Detailed instructions were very easy to follow. This unit replaced an old one. The new unit installed in less than an hour! It was easy to wire into the old thermostat. The unit worked properly the first time it was turned on.
