Great whole house fan!

Works as advertised. You can really feel the difference in temperature when the fan is running with just a few windows open slightly. It has the same sound level as my furnace when it is running.
Mounting the fan motor assembly was a little hard as I was doing it myself, but it was doable.
All in all, it is a great product.

Easy to install and cools your home

Overall the unit is performing well. This is the first whole house fan I have ever used or installed. I thought it would pull a little more air than it does. It was fairly easy to install and all the instruction are clear. I have had my unit now for 2 months and use it almost every day in the evening. I am very happy with this unit.

The fan was easy to install, took about 4 hours. The breeze that comes from it is very mild, I would prefer it to be a bit stronger. We have the fan on a timer and let it run for about 2 hours at night. It's been in the 80's and the house has stayed cool all day

The fan was not bad to install. Good instructions and videos online helped. I had to have another person help me since it was bigger and heaver than I thought. I have a two story (3200sqft) and it cools the house down quickly. A/C has stayed off all day almost. Used to turn on at 9am in the morning, now we make it until 4pm. It is about as loud as our current A/C unit. I would highly recommend the unit to anyone who is looking for a whole house fan.

I have had it in the house for two full weeks. It took 3 1/2 hours to install, including the electrical. I added a wifi plug outlet to turn it on and off via my Alexa voice control and app on phone. I have been turning it on around 5 or 6PM and letting it run on a timer until 10 or 11PM. It bring the temperature down from 80 degrees to around 73 degrees. The fan is very quiet, only the sound of the airflow due to the motor being in the attic and the vent 6' away. I cannot give the durability of the product, but it looks well constructed. The ceiling vent is very well constructed and the flappers shut quickly after fan is turned off. My house is 1674 sq ft so I choose the QC ES-3100 and the flow is very good. The price is high, but if works for years will be worth every penny.

Yes It Is A Two Speed Fan!

I installed the QC ES-3100 in my 1900 sq. ft. home. Due to the roof design we could not install additional venting, so we decided to go with a undersized unit instead of the next size up. The fan does a great job of pulling in cool air. Instead of opening up the whole house, we just open the window in the room we are in. This gives us instant relieve. At bedtime we use just the bedroom window and set the timing for an hour.
During our research on this fan we found a lot of conflicting information. Some of the spec sheets say that it just a single speed fan and others hint to a two speed unit. I decided to order the two speed switch just in case.
For any of you that have come across the same conflicting information, I can tell you that the fan is indeed a two speed fan and that the manual does come with the instructions to wire the two speed, as well as a one speed.
I'll also tell you that it is quiet. You can hear it running, but when I go into other parts of the house, you can't hear it at all.
Overall, I would recommend this whole house fan and my experience with eComfort.com.

Well made product. The famous is a two speed unit even though it is listed as a single speed unit. It moves a lot of air and does it fairly quietly. The WiFi controller works well and was not difficult to set up.
