- QuietCool works perfectly at night when the temperature drops, mass-cooling your home without the use of A/C. By mass cooling your home at night it will remain cooler during the day.
- Save up to 50-90% off A/C Usage
- QuietCool advanced whole house fans use and improve upon the principle of ventilation cooling with savings of up to 50-90% off traditional cooling methods such as A/C. The more you use your QuietCool whole house fan, the less you need to use your A/C.
- American Quality
- QuietCool is proudly designed and built in the USA with a 98% customer satisfaction rate.
- Innovative Design
- Zero noise vibration for quiet operation, efficient split capacitor motors to save you money, and R5 Insulated Damper System to ensure no heating/cooling loss between home and attic.
- High Efficiency Motor
- 703-watt, 2-speed PSC motor ensures efficient operation and airflow, fully exchanging air in the room every 3-5 minutes.
- Attic Venting
- 8.5 sq. ft. of net free attic venting required for proper ventilation.
The QC CL-6400 advanced whole house fan is a new take on the idea of whole house ventilation. Whole house ventilation allows you to bring the cooler outdoor air through your windows, home, and attic space to thoroughly cool and ventilate both the home and attic. This is what allows your home to stay cooler the next day and resist heating up as much as it would if you only ran the AC to cool the home. The QuietCool QC CL-6400 is designed to be installed centrally in mid-to-large size homes. Simply open a window when you get home from work, flip on the QuietCool, and enjoy a peaceful and cool evening relaxing. And for an even better system, purchase another smaller QuietCool unit for your master bedroom to enjoy a full range of cooling and ventilation.

Great whole house fan!

Works as advertised. You can really feel the difference in temperature when the fan is running with just a few windows open slightly. It has the same sound level as my furnace when it is running.
Mounting the fan motor assembly was a little hard as I was doing it myself, but it was doable.
All in all, it is a great product.

Solid, well designed, top quality, but noisier than expected

My attic space is tight, and the unit doesn't lend itself to installation in close quarters. The unit itself was a snap to install, but rather cumbersome to haul up into the attic, even disassembled, and instructions on disassembling, so as not to make reassembly difficult, were totally absent

QC 6400 Great Value and Increased Efficiency
By Raul C.

Purchased 09/13/2017 |
Review Posted 10/07/2017
We have a 2 story house in N. CALIFORNIA, just North of the SF Bay. We dont all need to AC and we dont all need to have Central HVAC, that mentality or thlught for cooling and heating a home is from the 60's. No instead today wr can use solar power, wind power, solar attic fans, improved insulation, triple pane windows, and yes a whole house fan.
I installed and placed the 2 motorhead QC6400 right over our stairs going down to our 1st floor, we pull cold air from first floor into attic space and now, with two 30W solar attic fans, our attic never gets over 110F, and mornings and evenings we can cool the attic space down to 85F, all verified with laser thermometer.
Our home is 2100 sq ft, 1600 on 2nd floor, and 600 on the first floor. The CFM to sq ft for our attic space is on the higher side so we have amazing cooling of the attic space within 30 minutes and the cooling of the entire 2nd floor of the house is quick and defnitely noticeable.
I also installed two Smart Wifi Hubs and use the Quiet cool app to run the fans without having to srop electrical lines for on wall control switches. By installing myself and using wifi hubs i save about 1K on install costs, average from 3 different HVAC companies. It was worth it for me, but you have to be handy, have tools, and time to diy install.

Works like a champ. Moves a LOT of air out of the house, I can even cool the garage by opening the door to the house and cracking the garage door. It pulls all the hot air out quickly. Highly recommend the 6400.

I've used the whole house fan CL-5400 every night since installation a couple weeks ago. As soon as the outside air is cooler than the interior, I turn the fan on and open a couple windows upstairs. I instantly have a nice breeze pulling in to the 3100 sq ft house, cooling off the upstairs.
