- Installation in the center of a room provides the best results. Since that's not always practical, the 26PEU2U6 has four louvers that allow you direct air which ever direction you desire.
- Integrated Drain Pump
- Panasonic has integrated a built-in drain pump that raises the condensate up 20 inches from pump discharge.
- Power Failure Automatic Restart
- Your preset programmed operation can be reactivated once power is restored after a power failure.
- Dry Mode
- Operation is precisely controlled according to room temperature so that the air is properly dehumidified.
- Self-Diagnosing
- The 26PEU2U6 is equipped with a self-diagnosing function that makes it easier to diagnose malfunctions and ultimately save on service labor costs.
- Automatic Heating and Cooling Changeover
- After you set the temperature and functions you desire, just relax. If the room temperature gets higher or lower the unit will adjust accordingly.
- Hot Start
- The heat pump will warm up before blowing air to prevent any cold drafts.

- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor unit.
- Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor unit to drain locations of your choosing. We recommend locally purchased PVC hard pipe for the condensate drain on cassette and concealed duct units.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor unit from your outdoor condenser.
- Base Pan Heater - The base pan heater prevents ice from building up on the outdoor unit. Excessive ice build will lead to performance issues and could damage your unit.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.
