- 3D i-see Sensor®
- The PLA-AE cassette unit includes an advanced thermal sensor that scans the room for hot and cold spots as well as occupancy. Using this information, the cassette unit can be programmed to direct airflow to certain areas of the zone in specific scenarios.
- H2i Technology
- Low or negative ambient temperatures won't bother the PUZ-AK. This condenser continues to provide heating in outdoor conditions as low as -13 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Precision Temperature Control Technology
- The outdoor condenser is equipped with inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. These components improve temperature accuracy and system efficiency through precise adjustments of both compressor speed and refrigerant flow.
- Dehumidification
- When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.
- Multiple Vane Control Options
- Auto mode selects the best vane position based on operating mode, and the swing modes cycle through all positions for maximum coverage.
- Condensate Removal System
- The PLA-AE contains an internal drain mechanism capable of lifting condensate 33-15/32". This simplifies installation and prevents condensate overflow, which can damage or destroy your property.
- Integrated Base Pan Heater
- These PUZ-AK outdoor condensers have a factory-installed base pan heater in the drain pain. This prevents condensate from freezing and damaging the unit in frigid climates.
- Blue Fin Condenser
- Condensers are constantly exposed to wind, dust and salty air that take their toll on your unit. Mitsubishi coats their condensers with an anti-rust coating to extend its lifespan.

- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris. Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system. All Mini Split Systems require one Primary Mini Split Installation Kit.
