We are very pleased with the air conditioner. It fit perfectly where our old one was in the wall. The controls are easy to use, and we love that we can conserve energy on our really hot days in California. I would recommend this and the 12, 000 btu are a big improvement for our home.

It is high quality but I did not care for having to disassemble and then reassemble. Once that was done everything was fine. The side curtains are very tight and are hard to use.

I have a 3100 square foot home south of San Francisco, CA. The home came with s 4-ton central AC. On days above 80F, the central AC could not cool my main living level where my family spends most of its tine. I decided to add this window unit to my 15’X18’ living room with 14’ high ceilings. This did the trick! Finally, I’m comfortable in my house. Much love f the time I only have to use this smaller AC, saving a lot of very expensive CA electricity. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

AWESOME window unit! I probably should have went with the 10,000 BTU for my bedroom because this sucker freezes me out!!!! It’s great if you have heavy blankets to curl up under. I live in Texas where it’s hot, humid, and sticky, so you know it’s a dang good unit if it makes us cold! It’s not as loud as other units that I’ve had in the past, but it’s still a window unit so be prepared that it’s a bit noisy. You’ll be hard-pressed to find one that’s not, but It’s not as bad as others I’ve had over the last 21 years. Installation was easy, two women installed it. It’s heavy, so you’ll need some help. You cannot go wrong with this unit if you make sure it will cover the square footage of the room you want it for. I overshot because window units usually do not come close to cooling the BTU’S they say they will. This one definitely does! I searched and searched and “settled” on this one because of price and the reviews. Trust this ole Texas broad, you won’t regret this purchase… period!!
