- Inverter Technology
- LG's outdoor condensers are designed with powerful, efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed condenser compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption.
- Quiet Design
- The LVN480HV features a brushless direct current motor that reduces electrical and mechanical noise down to 44 decibels. This means the unit is no louder than the refrigerator in your home.
- Dehumidify
- LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Multi-Position
- The LVN480HV air handler can be installed in either a vertical or a horizontal orientation, making it a versatile solution for all manners of duct systems.
- Low Ambient Operations
- Cold temperatures can't slow the LUU line of outdoor condensers down. This outdoor unit supports cooling operations down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit and heating operations down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Gold Fin Protection
- To ensure the reliability and longevity of the LUU's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.
- Built in Wi-Fi
- LG's vertical air handling system features built in Wi-Fi, enabling the control of your vertical air handler with smart enabled devices. Simply download the SmartThinQ® app to get started.

All Mini Split Systems require one Primary Mini Split Installation Kit. You may also require one or more Secondary Installation Kits if you have a Multi-Zone system. You will need a Secondary Installation Kit for each additional indoor unit.
