- Air Flow Options
- This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In swing mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions. Chaos Wind mode cycles both air flow direction and fan speed to provide a natural circulation pattern.
- Quiet Design
- The LMN079HVT can operate at volumes as low as 26 dB. LG utilizes a cross flow fan design that reduces noise levels by limiting the surface pressure of air flow as well as a brushless motor, which ensures minimal electrical and mechanical noise.
- Self-Cleaning Coil
- The LMN079HVT features a self-cleaning heat exchanger coil that automatically removes dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.
- Jet Temperature Control
- Quickly get your zone comfortable with the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.
- Automated Operation
- Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
- Sleep Mode
- With the sleep mode and timer functions, you can set this indoor unit to save energy at night. Sleep mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the timer function automatically deactivates the unit.
- Dehumidify
- LG's multi-zone indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Improved Air Quality
- The LMN079HVT uses a dual filtration system to keep your air clean. A washable anti-fungal filter protects against dust and bacteria, while a 3M Micro Protection Filter captures microscopic irritants for pristine air quality.
- Hot Start
- When the hot start function is enabled, the LMN079HVT's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.

Purchasing a mini-split system to cool & heat my house is one of the best remodel decisions I've made. The ductwork in my old system was corroded with a lot of rust. I didn't want to breathe that & running new ductwork too expensive. This is the perfect solution I was even able to put excellent cooling in my upstairs bedroom. It had always been uncomfortable & practically unusable space, not now! We were able to install it ourselves also. We do have a lot of experience with remodeling. Anyway, couldn't be happier, hoping that the heating is just as good. I'm in NW Oklahoma & it does get cold! Didn't include pic of upstairs unit, too busy.

After living with no AC for many years, I feel so happy when I come home to a cool house. We live in a dome home and local companies just weren’t willing to put the effort in to install because of figuring out how to run the coils in the most efficient way. The equipment was easy to understand and they are way quiet. So thankful to be rid of the noisy window AC. Wish I would have moved sooner on the ductless units.

I love my mini splits . They are so quiet and efficient. I can’t believe how many functions they have yet are very easy to use . I love that each room can be set to your desired temperature and that when those room are not in use you can shut them down . They cool the room almost instantly with the jet mode . Another feature I like is that they purify the room by using the ionizing feature . This has been one of the best investments I have made for my new home . I look forward to the money I will be saving on my electric bill .

We are just moving in to our newly built house with the LG mini split system and so far it’s just perfect. Not only are the inside units almost completely silent but the outdoor unit is also very quiet. The wall mounts might seem big to some but they don’t bother me.
