- Air Flow Options
- This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In swing mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions to ensure consistent comfort in every corner of your room.
- Quiet Design
- The LAN180HYV3 can operate at volumes as low as 30 dB thanks to a combination of cutting edge components. LG utilizes a cross flow fan design that reduces noise levels by limiting the surface pressure of air flow.
- Self-Cleaning Coil
- The LAN180HYV3 features a self-cleaning heat exchanger coil that automatically removes dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.
- Jet Temperature Control
- Quickly get your zone comfortable with the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.
- Automated Operation
- Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
- Dehumidify
- LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Improved Air Quality
- The LAN180HYV3 indoor unit uses a dual filtration system to keep your air clean. A washable anti-fungal filter is the first line of defense against dust and bacteria.
- Hot Start
- When the hot start function is enabled, the LAN180HYV3's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris. Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system.

Looks great, works great. I'm primarily using it for heat right now in December, New Jersey set at 67-68, it keeps most of my ground floor quite toasty. 800 square feet, it's located in the center of the long wall of a rectangular space, with sweeping left/right function. It's does the trick! Keeper

The unit itself works wonderfully and is very, very efficient! I took the path of self-installation, which had a large learning curve, but that was my choice. I'm happy to have it done and would tell others that it's possible to do yourself, if you want to be adventurous and not hire someone else. But it has timers for daily schedules and will create both heat and cold air in minutes! And you can control it via an app on your phone, so even when we travel we can control it! Would definitely recommend it and eComfort!
The only drawback was that the instructions cover a few similar units, so that can take awhile to find the exact setup for your model in the instructions. There are steps that don't apply to your unit, so it takes a bit longer to determine the correct steps. But there are plenty of YouTube videos out there to help you.

This LG Art Premier Mini-Split heat pump is great. Both the indoor evaporator and the outdoor condenser are nearly silent and look great. The remote is logical, has a nice display, and is easy to use. I look forward to purchasing another unit for a different area of my house. This is classic LG quality. The only thing that I could even think to improve would be the instruction sheet. It could be larger and the steps laid out in more logical, easier to follow manner.
