- The WAC12002WCO contains R-410A which is an eco-friendly refrigerant that contains no bromine or chlorine. This refrigerant will not harm the ozone layer like other refrigerants previously did.
- Sleep Mode
- Sleep mode adjusts the temperature periodically for 6 hours until returning to your desired temperature. This maximizes your energy savings by ensuring the unit is being used only when necessary.
- Energy Saver Mode
- The fan cycles on and off for 2 minutes in 10 minute intervals and if the temperature exceeds the set temperature the compressor will kick on and cool the room back down to your desired temperature.

I have a 12 X 60 trailer that has no shade trees around it at all and the sun just beats down on the outer metal all day long. My kitcken and living room are basicly one huge room except for the 4 foot bar that devides them then you have a hallway with the bathroom and 2 bedrooms at the back half of the trailer. I installed the AC unit in the kitchen it is the best place because of how the trailer is set up. Anyway you freeze the family jewles off in the living room and kitchen which i dont mind at all i love it cool so it cools the front half of the trailer very good i would say great and the back half it keeps it very comfortable if you have ever lived in a trailer you know they can get very hot in the summer, our AC went out last summer and before i could finish getting it repaired it was over 140 degrees in here like to have had a heat stroke. You wont go wrong with this unit it can be set to turn on and off at a certaing temp also. It is great i love it.

This unit replaced a LG 24K BTU (air only) unit in a 11X25 enclosed porch with 9 windows and a fireplace. I am in St. Louis, Mo. so the room gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
I find the AC capacity, even at half the capacity as the previous, completely adequate for this type of room, without the excessive blow around and noise of the larger unit. On hot days I can tell that it is operating economically. You can "set and forget" in auto mode and it will intelligently decide when to cycle on and what fan speed it uses. I think the thermostat is a few degrees off, I keep it at 73 and it runs 20% of the time keeping the room at 75 degrees. AWESOME that you don't even notice it when it's doing it's work.
Due to the heat feature I changed out my wire from 12/2 to 10/2 and put it on a 20AMP 2 pole breaker (i.e. 3500 watts). I'll appreciate it in the winter as I can use my main furnace more efficiently throughout the rest of the house. It is under 100lbs and installs as easily as a 110V window a/c. eComfort transaction was easy and convenient and they seem to care with follow ups to ensure customer satisfaction.

Very Nice Window Unit!

I bought this window unit to provide air conditioning in my 400 sq. ft. machine shop with a 9 ft ceiling. It was very easy to install in the window by myself and I needed no help to do this. When it is 95° outside in the Texas sun the window unit cools the shop to 82°. Considering my walls are not insulated and my shop is a walled off bay in the garage, this is not too bad. I feel comfortable and I am able to work all day in comfort. When I am running my lathe or milling machine the air conditioner blows on my back side and at times I have to turn it down a bit to keep from freezing. To make the whole shop colder I would have to have bought a 220V unit which would require me to run a new circuit to the shop. Instead, I decided to try the 115V model and I am happy with it. If I need it colder then I will just buy another identical model and install it in the other window of the shop because the unit cost is very reasonable. I recommend this unit to anyone who wants to cool 400 sq ft of space or smaller.
