The 20RESD is the first residential unit that allows 18" from home install. The 20RESA is the replacement for this model, same internals with a slightly different cabinet. You can save $100's with this discontinued model that is still fully warrantied which more than makes up for the lack of a pre-drilled pad for this model. I used another 20K model pad and installed a couple anchors and was done. Time will tell, but I'm confident I made the right choice.
