Features
A Goodman high efficiency heat pump and furnace package is the perfect way to upgrade your home's HVAC system. This kit contains a GSZC two-stage heat pump with an advanced coil design to maximize efficiency. The heat pump is paired with a GCVC furnace equipped with an ECM variable speed motor. This pair was specifically chosen to provide efficient comfort year round. A cased coil and valve kit are included, making this kit an affordable, efficient, whole home solution.
Quiet Comfort
The wire fan discharge grille and condenser fan motor of the GSZC line were designed to reduce noise levels without compromising performance. This model also has a high-capacity discharge muffler and a high-density foam sound blanket.
SmartShift
Goodman's SmartShift technology, combined with ambient and coil temperature sensors, gives this unit a quiet and effective defrost system. SmartShift also helps to prevent short-cycling, increasing the efficiency of defrost operations.
UltraTech Compressor
A two-stage Copeland UltraTech scroll compressor provides the GSZC with incredibly reliable refrigerant flow. The second stage increases efficiency by allowing the compressor to operate at a lower capacity when your demand is low.
All-Aluminum Coil
Goodman's evaporator coils use a reliable all-aluminum design featuring sine fins and grooved tubes. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.
Condensate Management
The CAPF features foil-faced insulation to inhibit the formation of condensate and a rust-resistant thermoplastic drain pan to capture what does form, keeping your system safe and operational.
Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
The GCVC furnace employs a dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used in construction for efficient heat transfer, and a wrinkle-bend is applied to the tubes to enhance dependability and longevity.
Secondary Heat Exchanger
This furnace produces additional heat without using more fuel by directing combustion gases through a secondary heat exchanger before they are vented. To prevent damage, this secondary heat exchanger is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
Variable Speed ECM Motor
The GCVC line features a variable speed ECM motor. Variable speed motors allow the furnace to operate at higher efficiencies than multi-speed blowers by controlling the speed of the blower based on heating demands.
Extended Warranty
Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.
The recommended line set size for this system will vary based on the length of line set you require for installation. Compatible line sets can be found under the "Recommended Accessories" tab. NOTE: Due to DOE regulations, as of January 1st this unit can no longer be installed in the southwest and southeast DOE regions. As of December 9th, 2022, we will no longer be selling 14 SEER and 16 SEER unitary products to the DOE Southern Region to comply with updated SEER2 Federal Regulations.
