A rotary compressor means less maintenance, and Goodman's superior coil design helps to ensure efficient energy use. The GPH16H even features convenient access panels that make installation and maintenance a breeze.

  • The condenser coil of this packaged unit is designed with aluminum fins and rifled copper tubing to maximize surface area and efficiency. It also features a durable all-aluminum evaporator coil that optimizes heat transfer.
  • Secure Design
  • The cabinet of the GPH16H is built to last. A galvanized steel casing with a powder paint finish prevents fading and corrosion while louvered panels and a coil guard keep the most important components secure from damage.
  • Quiet Comfort
  • A sound insulated blower compartment and quiet horizontal discharge mean that the GPH16H provides comfort without disrupting your home.
  • EEM Blower
  • PSC blower motors are energy hogs. The EEM motor in the GPH16H reduces electrical consumption, ensuring efficient circulation.

Answer
This packaged system does not come with an electric heater, but it can operate in "heating mode" out of the box because it is a heat pump. Additionally, you can purchase a 5kw - 10kw heat kit to provide supplementary heat during cold weather. Please check the accessories tab for compatible models.
