Features
- All-Aluminum Evaporator Coil
- The AWUF model comes with a durable all-aluminum evaporator coil that optimizes heat transfer.
- Galvanized-Steel Cabinet
- Galvanized-steel cabinets are corrosion resistant, requiring less maintenance to remain at peak efficiency.
- Easy Installation
- The AWUF air handler can be installed vertically on the wall with the provided wall hanging bracket. With the 2 ton units you have the ability to choose between a front or bottom return giving you installation flexibility.
- ECM Motor
- An energy efficient ECM motor will not only save you money on not only heating and cooling costs but on maintenance costs as well. ECM motors outperform and outlast the more common PSC motors.
- Electric Heat
- The AWUF air handlers come with a rust-resistant nickel chromium heating element that are sequence-controlled.
- Built-In Filter Rack
- Save money when purchasing the AWUF air handlers by not having to purchase a filter rack and filter in addition to your air handler. The AWUF comes with a built-in filter rack and the filter is included.
- Extended Warranty
- Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.
Goodman air handlers are an integral part of a total home environmental control system. The AWUF plays a key role in reducing indoor humidity to create much more comfortable environment. In addition, the AWUF uses a variable speed ECM motor to efficiently move cooled or warmed air throughout your home.
