Our 38kW Generac has provided nearly uninterrupted clean power 11 times since installation 2 years ago. One power outage lasted 26 hours and the generator operated the entire time without issue.

I purchased this liquid cooled whole house generator 3 years ago after I had burnt out my air cool generator (and well pump) during a power outage.
Major difference is sound is so quiet I have to go outside to hear if its on. The air cooled generators are not made to work continuously and must shut down for a cooling period every 10 hours , this generator doesn’t require a cooling down cycle. The power output strong and very is very clean and is easy on my electric equipment. Under powered unit with harmonic distortion will burn up your water pump and air conditioning.
The phone application is able it control your unit and is very convenient. I went big in order to power 2 ac units at the same time because on during a previous hurricane recovery the open windows increased the humidity in the house and warped the wood floors and cause plaster around windows to break down. This was a fantastic decision and even though it was more expensive initially than other options it was worth every penny! I highly recommend this generator and I take deference with the person who posted about waiting a weekend for help because Generac has a hotline number available 24/7

It’s running right now due to being hit by hurricane beryl this week. Fast shipment after the derecho storm in May and got online just in time. Only thing it’s missing is a load indicator in the control window to understand how loaded it is. Very quiet. Solid

We have had our 4845ANAX Generac for a year. It has worked flawlessly. Our dealer/installer is only 15 minutes away which is something to consider when choosing a generator. I have had properties with Kohler, Cummins, Briggs & Stratton, and Generac. They were all water cooled units. The Generac is the only one that did not need any maintenance other than the annual oil change and tune up but there were only very minor issues with the other brands.
If you choose your installer/maintenance company carefully any of the major brands of generators can be equally good but I have been very impressed with this Generac unit. I have never owned an air cooled unit. They run at twice the speed of the water cooled ones and they make a lot more noise. The man who does our maintenance has been doing generator maintenance for 20 years and he said he services some water cooled units that are over 25 years old and the air cooled do not last that long.
If you choose your installer/maintenance company carefully any of the major brands of generators can be equally good but I have been very impressed with this Generac unit. Our first real need for this gen set was during a wildfire. Power out for 6 days. We ran out of propane (our fault). The gen stopped after about 4 days, still had propane, has an error message, had to call to find out what the message was because it only gives a number. I went to reset and start gen and it won't start and it has a different error message. Now I have to wait for the weekend to pass again to call and find out what this error message leads to. Our nearest servicing dealer is a minimum of 2 hrs. away and with the fire they are 4 hours away because of road closures. I've lost 4 days waiting for weekends to pass so I could call to get an error message result. At this point what good did the gen set do? Don't purchase a gen set unless you can get the manual that has ERROR messages in it. The gen sets from Generac do not have these messages included.
Less than satisfied with the availability of service. Owners need to have all the info at hand.
