Works like a charm. Auto tests every week. We even had power go out for an hour after we got it and it ran everything perfectly in a 4000 sq ft house with 3 main AC units and a pool.

We purchased the Generac package with the pad and battery. All look to be well made and high quality. Once the generator is bolted to the pad nobody and no storms are going to move them.
My only complaint is that the generator was nixed up backwards. We picked it up so that the arrow and word "front" were towards the tractor. When we set it on the pad and removed the cardboard box it was facing the wrong way. Luckily we hadn't removed any of the wood packaging so we were able to turn it 180 degrees with the tractor.

So my generator was delivered a little late which wasn’t a big problem But it was installed today and the transfer switch is not working try calling customer service I was on hold for over an hour and was not able to speak to anybody

Purchase this package after having power outages while I was I was on a business trip and family was home without power for two days. Worst feeling not being able to do anything for them. Ordered this unit on line that night and it was delivered with 5 days. Had a local plumber install gas line and a generac Electrician install and wire transfer switch.
The entire process from the day I ordered the unit till it was running took less then a week. The best part was I saved over $10,000 from what I was quoted from my local gas company and Costco

No more gas generators for me to worry about at 79 years of age! The peace of mind is worth the price alone! Totally automatic, it turns itself on and off automatically and turns itself on the middle of each week at 12 noon to check itself out! We have already had one power outage for 30 minutes and the generator did its job flawlessly! It will do nothing but add value to your home when you are ready to sell.
PS..You may need to add a wifi range extender to get the signal your generator needs to operate the wifi app on your phone. Very quiet outside my master bedroom..sounds like a lawn mower running.
