Features
The Diversitech Wet Switch® Flood Detector is a solid state control designed to prevent flooding damage cause by condensate overflow or drain leaks. The switch can be placed into a secondary drain pan and will turn off the cooling system when moisture is detected. The Wet Switch® features a stainless steel sensor array and a hydrophilic pad to ensure detection with even the smallest amount of moisture. The switch can also be installed into a series of switches to adequately cover larger drain pan areas.
Double Throw Relay
The Diversitech Wet Switch® Flood Detector features a double throw relay which allows for wiring to immediately stop the cooling system and sound an alarm the moment moisture is detected.
Hydrophilic Pad
The hydrophilic pad seen on the Wet Switch® is made up of a high tech, polymeric fiber which quickly draws water into the sensor array. This capillary technology is designed to send leak alerts before it becomes a problem.
Integral Feet
The Diversitech Wet Switch® features integral feet which raise the hydrophilic pad and sensor array slightly off the drain pan in order to prevent pan corrosion and debris from interfering with the sensor array.
Multi-Unit Connectivity
Each Wet Switch® is capable of connecting into a series of multiple units in order to adequately cover larger drain pan areas.
