What is a conical pipe thread? I would like to connect 1/2" copper pipe to this valve. How can I do that?

Answer
Conical pipe thread, or Eurocone, is a pipe threading commonly in use in Europe. It relies on gaskets and o-rings rather than the thread itself to create a watertight seal and is not compatible with NPT fittings commonly available in the United States. We have a number of fittings available that will allow you to transition from the conical pipe thread on the valve to 1/2" copper. These include compression, threaded, and sweat fittings.
