    Burnham continues to be on the forefront of home heating technology. By contantly working to improve the efficiency of their boilers, they are able to pass the savings on directly to the homeowner. The K2-080 is the next model in a history of state of the art, economical machines. The K2 line improves upon Burnham's condenser technology, allowing for optimal heating performance at up to 94% AFUE efficiency. The stainless steel body and included wall mount system allow for easy installation and long-term realiabilty. The K2 line also introduces the Sage2.2 system, providing high efficiency heating right out of the box, as well as an easy to use touch screen interface with intuitive menus and graphs. Burnham has strived to deliver the best, most efficient machines for residential heating, and the K2 continues that mission.

    Sage2.2 Control System
    The Sage2.2 provides pre-set, out of the box high performance from day one. If changes are required, the Sage2.2 system has an easy to read and use touchscreen interface built into the boiler. The system provides step-by-step instructions for changing settings as well as running system diagnostics, making the K2 one of the most user friendly boilers on the market.

    Built to be Efficient
    The K2 line was designed to keep costs down, while still being as efficient as possible. With that in mind, the K2 line is designed to be easy to service, allowing for quick, efficient maintenance. Quicker maintenance combined with ease of installtion keeps initial and year-to-year costs down, saving the money over the lifetime of the boiler.

    Manage Multiple Boilers
    Like many of Burnham's other models, the K2 can be linked with other boilers, automatically communicating between each other to serve even the largest of spaces and efficiently heat your home. Using smart features such as "lead/lag cycling" the boilers work in tandem to share the load between all boilers, keeping your home warm while keeping the boilers working efficiently.

    High Altitude Boilers
    Due to Burnham's condensing technology, the K2 model suffers little to no efficieny loss at higher altitudes. With an easily adjustable option built into the boiler, the the K2 model can work at near maximum efficiency up to 10,000 feet. By staying efficient, the K2 eliminates the need to oversize your boiler at higher altitudes.

    Multiple Installation Options
    The K2 model comes with a built-in wall mount allowing for flexibilty in almost any installation situation. The K2's relativley small size and weight allow it to fit in nearly any space.

Can I use the K2 for a radiant heat system in a driveway for snow melting?

Answer
The Burnham K2 Boiler can be used for a snow melting application with heat exchanger and appropriate anti-freeze. Running the fluid directly from the driveway to the boiler can be harmful and cause excessive thermal stress to the boiler.

Can this boiler be converted to LP?

Answer
Yes the K2 boiler can be field-converted for LP gas, and includes all the necessary labeling for the conversion. No additional parts are required, but your technician will need a combustion analyzer to make sure the burner is set-up properly for LP operation. Full instructions are available in "Appendix A: Instructions for Conversion of this Boiler for use with LP Gas" of the installation manual.
