Fuel Type
To create heat, some form of fuel is required. Fuel Type specifies what the product uses as an input to create heat.
Natural Gas
Combustion Type
Combustion Type
Condensing appliances use leftover thermal energy from combustion gases to heat water in a secondary heat exchanger, resulting in higher efficiency and lower exhaust temperature.
Conventional
Vent Type
Vent Type
Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.

Net I=B=R Capacity
I=B=R, also referred to as Net Output or AHRI Capacity, is the rated heat output of a boiler after accounting for combustion efficiency, piping loss, and an extra pickup factor. We recommend sizing steam boilers based on the I=B=R rating.

Ultra Low NOx Emissions
NOx is a byproduct of the combustion process, and it's output is regulated in some jurisdictions. Many regulators mirror SCAQMD rules, which regulate air quality for some parts of Southern California. Ultra Low NOx appliances emit less than 10-14 ng/J (nanogram per Joule) of NOx. Learn More

Williamson-Thermoflo GSA-250-N-IP Reviews & Ratings
The Williamson-Thermoflo GSA boiler is a great choice for gas-fired steam applications that call for a packaged*, durable, reliable, easy to service product. Over the years, most features that you'd want have become standard - stainless steel burners, included vent damper, and draft diverter. Also, out of the box you can expect: gauge glass, pressure gauge, high limit pressure control, probe-type LWCO, relief valve, and drain valve. The one-piece access door, coupled with easy-to-reach controls, make servicing this boiler as easy as possible. Unfortunately, the GSA boiler is only available for natural gas applications, so LP users must look elsewhere. *The largest size, GSA-300, is not packaged.

I ordered a new boiler, You delivered . . .PEACE OF MIND!

Several years ago my wife and I purchased an old 3 story Victorian style home in Norristown, PA. The house had an old oil fired steam boiler that literally vibrated the floors every time it started. Well, last winter the old boiler sprung several pin hole sized leaks and shortly thereafter it failed.
I started doing research and found your website, used your calculator and made the purchase. Once delivered, my wife and I took over from there with the installation. We went from an old, noisy and messy oil fired boiler to a very quiet, efficient and very satisfying gas fired steam boiler.
Thank you for delivering...PEACE OF MIND!

Built by a division of Weil McLain the boiler it is similar to their products. Seems to be build well and I hope to have years of trouble free working status. A little difficult to install given the position of the ports. I will recommend this product to others.
