- The VT2218 features a temperature sensing system unlike any other in its class. This allows for a Delta-T differential temperature mode, set point heat with boiler protection, and a set point cool mode.

- A fully backlit LCD screen on the VT2218 displays operating mode, temperature or speed setting, watts, supply/return temperatures, error code diagnostics, and the ability to switch between English and Metric units.

- The VT2218 features Taco's BIO Barrier® that protects the pump from system contaminants, a SureStart™ setting that automatically unblocks and purges air in your system, and an integral flow check to prevent backflow.
- High Efficiency
- The Taco VT2218 includes an efficient ECM permanent magnet motor that uses up to 85% less electricity than most standard pumps, allowing you to potentially save hundreds in fuel costs.
- Universal Flange
- This VT2218 features a 2-way flange that provides universal fit-up to any flange position.

The Taco 00e™ series VT2218 Delta-T variable speed circulator is a temperature sensing, self-adjusting, high-efficiency wet rotor circulator featuring an ECM permanent magnet motor. Operating modes on the VT2218 include Delta-T differential temperature, 4 fixed speeds, set point heat and cool, and boiler protection. This versatile circulator is perfect for hydronic systems with zone valves, radiant loops, injection pumping, snowmelt, and hydro-air fan coils. The VT2218 also features a 4-bolt flange, allowing for universal fit-up to any flange position.

I bought this to replace a noisy Bumblebee pump which had the same features. The Taco VT2218 is so quiet I was worried it wasn't even working at first. I'm using it in Delta T mode and it does a great job of regulating it's speed to reach my desired temperature differential. The display and programming on this are super easy to navigate and it has all the info you need displayed all the time. I will be recommending this to anyone I know in the market for an upgrade to their home boiler system.

This product seems like it will prevent a repeat problem that I had. My copper fin cast iron boiler was replaced under warranty due to a failed heat exchanger after only 4 years! After many months of research and investigation, it was determined (by me) that it was due to a grossly undersized Taco 007 circulator that the installer put on. This little gem keeping the delta T at 20 degrees should do just the trick to keep that problem from happening again. And I had to insist on it being installed this time around. My new hobby is staring at the LCD readout. It even tells you how many GPM are flowing through it at any given time. My only criticism would be that the directions do not give any option for using this with Primary/Secondary piping. That extra information would be a nice enhancement to the direction booklet. It also comes with a 3 year warranty. Let's hope it lasts - assuming that it does, it gets 5 stars from me!
