The PKZ-A18NHA7 is a single zone heat pump mini split system designed to bring effective heating and cooling to any room in a large home or business. A wall mounted indoor unit, PKA-A18HA7, is paired with an outdoor condenser that uses some of the most advanced technology available to modulate temperature without the energy-wasting overshoots and short-cycling associated with simpler systems. With the included mounting plate, it is easy to install the indoor unit on nearly any wall. As part of Mitsubishi's commercial P-Series, the condenser is constructed with industrial-grade materials to ensure consistent performance in the harshest conditions, making this system ideal for critical load applications that require constant conditioning.
  • Precision Temperature Control Technology
  • The PUZ-A18NHA outdoor condenser includes inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. By adjusting compressor speed and refrigerant flow, output can be matched to the zone for precise temperature control and improved efficiency.
  • Hot-Start
  • Mitsubishi's hot start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.
  • Dehumidification
  • When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.
  • Vane Control
  • Optimal air flow can be achieved with the PKA-A18KA thanks to the vane control option. This function provides access to four different horizontal vane positions and a swing mode. Swing mode cycles through all positions for maximum coverage.

    • (1) Mitsubishi - 18k BTU - P-Series Wall Mounted Unit - For Single-Zone (PKA-A18HA7)
    Product Note
    This product requires the following accessories for installation:
    • Thermostat - Mitsubishi P-Series mini splits do not include a thermostat for system control. Recommended thermostats can be found under the "Accessories" tab.
    • Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor unit.
    • Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor unit to drain locations of your choosing.
    • Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
    • Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor unit from your outdoor condenser.
    • Base Pan Heater - The base pan heater prevents ice from building up on the outdoor unit. Excessive ice build will lead to performance issues and could damage your unit.
    • Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.
    Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system. All Mini Split Systems require one Primary Mini Split Installation Kit. You may also require one or more Secondary Installation Kits if you have a Multi-Zone system. You will need a Secondary Installation Kit for each additional indoor unit.
