We're here to make sure you get the right product and equipment for the job, the first time. So, whether you are upgrading existing HVAC equipment or getting ready for a complete overhaul, we want to empower you with information that will make your life easier. In many of our guides, we focus on the importance of proper installations and maintaining equipment so that it'll bring you years of uninterrupted service and enjoyment.

HVAC Service

Whether you're handy or not, there are times when it's best to have equipment serviced by a certified technician. There are three different situations where a technician is most helpful:

  1. Scheduled Service Maintenance
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Scheduling routine maintenance like a furnace and air conditioner inspection ("tune-up") and maintaining a clean air filter is cheap insurance.

Performing routine maintenance on HVAC equipment will ensure that it will operate safely for years to come like when it was brand-new. In some cases, a seemingly quick tune-up can prevent dangers and costly repairs down the road.

  2. Troubleshooting Problems
As equipment ages and depending on how well it was maintained over the years, battling nature becomes an issue. Rust forms on metal parts, rubber seals begin to crack, leaks develop, and efficiency suffers. Although you may be tempted to perform the work yourself, you should always defer to a professional contractor when it comes to servicing HVAC appliances.

However, when repairs start becoming routine, the costs can far outweigh replacement, and it may be time to start looking for new equipment. In either case, when it's time for a replacement, we're here to help guide you through the process.

  3. Warranty Repairs
On that rare occasion (less than 1%) that something isn’t quite right with your new product, you’ll be glad to know that you’re covered. The manufacturer’s warranty protects you against defects in workmanship and materials. eComfort works the same way as all other retailers.

All of our new products are backed at least by a one-year manufacturer's warranty with the option of purchasing extensions.

Note: eComfort can assist with facilitating warranty repairs and replacements, however, due to manufacturer specifications, equipment that has been installed or modified is not eligible for a factory return.

Note About Damaged Shipments

We make shipping HVAC equipment easy, but we realize that the world isn't perfect. Considering the journey of some freight shipments, with hundreds of miles on less-than-perfect roads, in rare cases things don't arrive as they should.

That's why we put together this short video so you'll know what to expect from a freight delivery and can enjoy your product quickly and worry-free!
