Schluter-DILEX-AHK is an perimiter joint profile used to seperate tile fields at floor-to-wall joints and transitions, forming the visible surface between the two. The profile is specifically designed for tension relief of tile fields, preventing damage due to movement over time. The AHK profile is built from Aluminum for long term durability, while the brushed nickel anodized aluminum finish adds a touch of class to any tiled room.
Pure Aluminum Construction
This profile is constructed from aluminum, giving it the durability it needs to last for many years without the worry of breakage or bending.
Trapezoidal Anchor Pattern
Schluter-DILEX-AHK profiles use an alternating trapezoidal pattern of anchoring holes for adherence to mortar. This pattern gives optimal movement stability in all directions.
Brushed Nickel Anodized Aluminum Finish
The brushed nickel anodized aluminum finish on the profile gives your tile an extra touch of class and sophistication.

Are the Schluter cove profiles suitable for wall-to-wall and wall-to-ceiling corners in a tub-surround? Also, if used in that application, are the warranties for the cove profile and Kerdi Board in effect?

Answer
Yes, Schluter's cove profiles such as the DILEX-AHK are certainly suitable for wall-to-wall and floor-to-wall transitions. However I would probably recommend going with a movement joint profile such as the DILEX-EKE series for your wall-to-ceiling transition. That way you have a little more room for movement/expansion along the wall which sounds like it will be completely tiled from floor to ceiling. In any case, the Schluter warranty should still be honored regardless of the profile you choose. For complete details, please review the manufacturer's warranty as linked below.
