    The New Yorker CI-HGS-B line of boilers brings high efficiency oil heat to homes around the globe for an affordable price. The unique three-pass heat exchanger brings an unprecedented level of efficiency to oil boilers, using every last possible BTU out of flue gases to heat your home. Steel nipples ensure that the heat exchanger lasts the life of the boiler, while the durable insulated jacket keeps heat inside of the boiler during downtime. This boiler does not come with a burner, making it the ideal boiler for conversion to a direct venting system.
  • 3-Pass Cast Iron Heat Exchanger
  • The heat exchanger in New Yorker CI-HGS-B boilers is formed of three durable cast iron sections. Inside of this heat exchanger the water line passes over the combustion gas chamber three times, ensuring that every possible BTU is used to heat your home.
  • Steel-Nipple Joints
  • The three sections of the heat exchanger are joined together with steel nipples instead of traditional rubber, providing protection against normally corrosive chemicals such as antifreeze.
  • Less Oil Burner
  • This CI-HGS-B boiler does not come with a burner, making it the ideal boiler for conversion to direct venting. The Beckett NX burner included in the accessories section of this page is an ideal burner for direct vent applications.
  • Insulated Jacket
  • The insulated jacket of the CI-HGS-B reduces standby heat loss inside of the boiler, increasing overall efficiency.

  • Honeywell L7248 Electronic High Limit Aquastat
  • Provisions for Optional Plug-In Accessories
  • Product Note
    This boiler, although chimney vented by default, is the ideal starting point for converting a CI-HGS-B boiler to direct vent operation. The necessary accessories to do this, a Beckett NX burner, direct venting kit, and oil flex pipe, are listed in the accessories section of this page.
