Features

Goodman\'s packaged units are the perfect all-in-one comfort solution for nearly any residential application. The GPD14 Dual-Fuel Packaged Units combines cooling and heating for year-round performance in one self-contained unit. A scroll compressor provides consistent refrigerant flow, and Goodman\'s superior coil design is featured to ensure high efficiency regardless of whether you\'re heating or cooling your home. The GPD14, when properly installed, will determine whether to use electricity or natural gas to power your unit to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Dual Fuel Equals Dual Savings
  • When properly installed, the GPD14 will determine whether it should heat your home using electricity or natural gas depending on which is the most economically friendly at that time.
  • High-Efficiency Coils
  • The condenser coil of this packaged unit is designed with aluminum fins and rifled copper tubing to maximize surface area and efficiency. It also features a durable all-aluminum evaporator coil that optimizes heat transfer.
  • EEM Blower Motor
  • PSC blower motors are energy hogs. The EEM motor in the GPD14 consumes less electricity, ensuring energy-efficient circulation.
  • 2-Stage Gas Valve
  • The GPD14 comes with a two-stage gas valve that ensures you have comfortable and efficient heating whether the weather is mild or bitterly cold.
  • Secure Design
  • The cabinet of the GPD14 is built to last. A galvanized steel casing and UV-resistant powder paint prevent fading and corrosion. Louvered panels and a coil guard are employed to keep the most important components secure.
  • Scroll Compressor
  • This unit utilizes a high-efficiency scroll compressor with an internal relief valve to provide refrigerant flow. Scroll compressors are renowned for operating more smoothly and reliably than traditional compressors.
  • Quiet Comfort
  • A sound insulated blower compartment means that the GPD14 provides year-round comfort without disrupting your home.
  • Extended Warranty
  • Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.
