Features

A Goodman high efficiency central air package is the perfect way to upgrade your home's HVAC system. This pack contains a DSZC16 heat pump, a GMEC96 furnace, and a cased evaporator coil. With two sources of high efficiency heat, it's easy to stay comfortable in winter without breaking the bank. The heat pump covers cooling and mild heating application, while the furnace provides circulation and handles the heavy-duty heating. The GFH159647120H-3 enjoys a quick installation process and incredible durability; add one to your home today and stay comfortable for years to come.

    Product Features

    Advanced Coil Design
The coils of the DSZC160481 and CHPF4860D6 feature aluminum fins and grooved tubing. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.

    UltraTech Compressor
A two-stage Copeland UltraTech scroll compressor provides the DSZC160481 with incredibly reliable refrigerant flow. The second stage increases efficiency by allowing the compressor to operate at a lower capacity when your demand is low.

    Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
The GMEC96 furnace employs a reliable dual-diameter tubular primary heat exchanger design. Aluminized-steel is used in construction for incredibly efficient heat transfer, and a wrinkle-bend is applied to the tubes to enhance the heat exchanger's dependability and longevity. A corrosion-resistant stainless steel secondary heat exchanger improves the efficiency of this unit even further by capturing heat that less advanced furnaces vent out of the home.

    Energy-Efficient Circulation
PSC blower motors are energy hogs. The ECM motor in the GMEC961205DN provides more efficient, more intelligent airflow for your home.

    Quiet Comfort
Goodman takes great pride in providing comfort that doesn't disrupt your home. The DSZC160481 and the GMEC961205DN feature components that reduce operational noise without compromising performance.

    SmartShift
Goodman's SmartShift technology, combined with ambient and coil temperature sensors, gives the DSZC160481 heat pump a quiet and effective defrost system. SmartShift also helps to prevent short-cycling, increasing the efficiency of defrost operations.

    Secure Cabinet
All three components in this system possess a durable cabinet designed to improve the longevity of the system. Additionally, the GMEC961205DN's cabinet is reinforced to prevent air and sound leakage.

    Product Includes
    • (1) Goodman DSZC160481 Heat Pump
    • (1) Goodman GMEC961205DN Gas-Fired Furnace
    • (1) Goodman CHPF4860D6 Evaporator Coil
    • (1) Goodman TX5N4 Thermostatic Expansion Valve
    Product Note
The recommended line set size for this system will vary based on the length of line set you require for installation. Compatible line sets can be found under the "Recommended Accessories" tab. | The US Department of Energy regulates minimum efficiency standards for central air conditioners and heat pumps based on geographic regions. We are required to abide by these regulations when selling products, and take this responsibility seriously. The standards depend on the rated efficiency of the entire system, not the nominal efficiencies of individual components. If you are unsure if your system will be compliant, please call or email us for help.
