The Crown Raptor from Velocity Boiler Works is a high efficiency boiler featuring a world class, stainless steel fire tube design. The Raptor boasts a 96% AFUE rating with a 10-to-1 turndown ratio, dramatically reducing your home's heating costs. The Raptor also includes a Honeywell SOLA touch-screen control as well as an outdoor reset that allows the boiler to work as effectively and efficiently as possible. With a pre-installed hanging bracket and wall mount kit, the Raptor is able to provide powerful home heating without delay.
  • Fire Tube Heat Exchanger
  • The Raptor boiler uses a fire tube heat exchanger and condensing technology, allowing the boiler to heat water quickly while also recovering heat energy in exhaust gas that might otherwise be expelled from your home.
  • 10-to-1 Turndown Ratio
  • The modulating burner used by the Raptor condensing boiler can adjust its firing rate down to as low as one tenth of its maximum firing rate in response to heating requirements, further increasing the efficiency of your boiler.
  • Included Honeywell SOLA Control
  • Honeywell's SOLA control is included stock with the Raptor. The SOLA allows you to program everything from firing rate to altitude of operation, adjusting your boiler to perfectly fit your home and its environment.
  • Outdoor Reset and Sensor
  • The Raptor comes with an outdoor reset and sensor, giving the included SOLA control all the information it needs to adjust boiler operation in relation to the current weather conditions.
  • Product Note
Crown boilers are sold exclusively through Velocity Boiler Works.

Fuel Type Learn More
Fuel Type
To create heat, some form of fuel is required. Fuel Type specifies what the product uses as an input to create heat.

Combustion Type Learn More
Combustion Type
Condensing appliances use leftover thermal energy from combustion gases to heat water in a secondary heat exchanger, resulting in higher efficiency and lower exhaust temperature.
Condensing
Vent Type Learn More
Vent Type
Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.

DHW Production Learn More
DHW Production
DHW (Domestic Hot Water) is potable water for uses other than space heat. Some boilers are able to provide DHW "out of the box", while others can do so with the purchase of optional accessories.
