Century's presence in the heating market is all about efficient, reliable comfort. Their MGD line of furnaces is designed specifically for installation in manufactured and mobile homes. The MGD90-E5B utilizes direct venting and requires little clearance to combustibles, making it perfect for installation in tight spaces. The multi-speed blower ensures maximum coverage and even temperatures throughout your home, and the monoport burner is designed to provide years of efficient combustion. If you're searching for comfort and peace of mind in your manufactured home, look to the Century MGD90-E5B.

    Product Features

    Advanced Components
The MGD line of furnaces utilizes sophisticated parts to bring you comfort that is both safe and efficient. The hot surface ignition system eliminates the need for a standing pilot light, and the solid state controls monitor the flame for irregularities during operations.

    Superior Heat Transfer
The heat exchanger of the MGD90-E5B is made from aluminized steel tubes. This design lends itself to efficient heat transfer, giving you exceptional comfort with minimal wasted energy.

    Double Insulated Jacket
Century employs a dual-purpose jacket on their MGD furnaces. The combination of fiberglass insulation and reflective foil prevents heat loss and sound leakage, giving you a quiet, efficient operation.

    Internal Filtration
An MGD furnace doesn't just keep your home comfortable, it also keeps you air clean. Two easily accessible disposable air filters are installed in the furnace to capture dust, lint, and other contaminants in your home.

    Field Convertible
All MGD furnaces are field convertible to liquid propane. A conversion orifice is included with the gas valve so that conversion can be handled during installation without requiring any additional parts.

    Product Includes
    • (1) Century MGD90-E5B Gas-Fired Furnace
    • (1) Liquid Propane Conversion Kit
    • (2) Filters
    Product Note

This product requires a compatible roof jack to complete installation. Roof jacks can be added to your order from the accessories tab above.

Fuel Type To create heat, some form of fuel is required. Fuel Type specifies what the product uses as an input to create heat.
Natural Gas
Vent Type Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.
Direct Vent
Modulating/Staging Stages are unique speeds or levels that equipment can operate at. More stages allow for better fine-tuned control of output, which improves comfort and efficiency. Modulating equipment can operate across a range of levels, giving the highest level of fine-tuned control. Learn More
Single Stage
Blower Type Blower type describes the motor that powers the fan in the unit. PSC multi-speed is the standard motor that operates with pre-set fan speed levels. ECM multi-speed are more efficient but still operate with pre-set fan speeds. Finally, ECM variable-speed motors are also energy efficient and automatically adjust to changing system conditions.
PSC Multi-Speed
Orientation Orientation describes the direction that air will flow through a piece of equipment. (e.g. air will flow horizontally through a "Horizontal" unit heater.) Most equipment will only function properly if installed in the proper orientation.
