Schluter-DILEX-BWS is a surface joint profile used to separate fields of floor tile while providing structural stress relief. The sides of the profile are constructed of rigid PVC, providing both protection for the tile surrounding the profile and the middle soft PVC section that separates the individual fields. The softer PVC prevents movements caused by time from damaging the tile by allowing the profile to compensate for these movements as they happen. The profile can be installed in greater or lesser quantities depending on how much ground movement is expected over the long term.
Rigid PVC Sides
The sides of DILEX-BWS use a rigid form of PVC in their construction, protecting the sides of the tile they are installed next to and providing space for the soft PVC movement zone in the middle.
Trapezoidal Anchor Pattern
Schluter-DILEX-BWS profiles use an alternating trapezoidal pattern of anchoring holes for adherence to mortar. This pattern gives optimal movement stability in all directions.
The grey finish on the BWS80G profile gives your tile an extra touch of class and sophistication.
