Since it does not utilize combustion, the EB furnace doesn't require a vent system, just readily available airflow. The EB12D is capable of providing 39,000 BTU of heating at 100% efficiency in Department of Energy specified applications, meaning that every kWh of electricity used goes towards heating. When it comes to electric comfort in a manufactured home, the EB12D is hard to beat.
Easy, Safe Installation
Finding a place to install an EB electric furnace is easy. In downflow applications, it requires no clearance to combustibles and in upflow applications, a single inch from the outlet duct is required.
Advanced Heat Elements
The EB's heating elements are designed with nickel and chrome, giving them optimal electric resistance for efficient heating and a long life-span for your peace of mind. They are activated and deactivated in stages, preventing unnecessary wear and tear.
Disruptive sound levels aren't a concern with this furnace. Revolv lined their EB series electric furnaces with sound-dampening insulation to provide quiet comfort.
The EB12D uses a four speed motor for the blower, giving you excellent airflow that can be scaled to the size of your home.
Integral Circuit Breakers
You don't have to worry about your electrical system being damaged by shorts with an EB electric furnace. They are equipped with their own set of circuit breakers in place of fuses.
The EB12D ships in a downflow configuration, but it can be easily converted to an upflow application with a 3500.7211 upflow flange plate kit.
The EB doesn't just keep your home comfortable, it also keeps you air clean. An air filter that captures dust, lint, and other contaminants is installed in the top of the furnace cabinet, where it is easy to check and replace.
