Features

Goodman established itself as the largest HVAC manufacturer in the US by producing high-quality, efficient equipment and providing it to homeowners at a great value. The GDS8 single-stage, multi-speed furnace utilizes Goodman's superior heat exchanger design to provide efficient, reliable heating to your home. This furnace also excels at providing comfortable circulation in a variety of conditions thanks to its four-speed blower motor. Designed with some of the most dependable components available, the GDS8 furnace is built to last. It is also equipped with a self-diagnosing control board for quick maintenance, and is backed by Goodman's generous warranty. With the GDS8, you're getting comfort and peace of mind.
  • Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
  • The GDS8 furnace employs a reliable dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used for incredibly efficient heat transfer, and a wrinkle-bend is applied to the tubes to enhance the heat exchanger's dependability and longevity.
  • Quiet Comfort
  • The blower, motor, and igniter of the GDS81005CX were selected for their incredibly low sound levels.
  • Secure Cabinet
  • All GDS8 furnaces are protected by a durable steel cabinet with a long-lasting powder paint finish. The heat exchanger section is lined with foil-insulation to prevent heat loss and the entire cabinet is rated for less than 2% air leakage.
  • Easy Integration
  • The GDS81005CX makes it simple to enhance your system with a humidifier; just wire it directly to the low-voltage terminal on the control board.
  • Extended Warranty
  • Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.
