Dunkirk Hotline - 75 Gallons - Indirect Fired Water Heater - Porcelain-Coated Enamel
ST00213D
Features
- (1) Dunkirk HL80SK Indirect Fired Water Heater
- (1) Magnesium Anode Rod
Dunkirk is one of the most established names in hydronic heating. Their reputation has been built over the years by ingenious design and perpetual innovation. Hotline indirect fired water heaters use the power and efficiency of your boiler to heat domestic water. A Hotline is capable of producing three to five times the hot water of a comparable electric or gas-fired water heater. To achieve such high volumes of hot water, Dunkirk used a counterflow design in the Hotline. Directing the boiler water to run contrary to the domestic hot water improves the heat transfer efficiency and provides a more even temperature. A self-cleaning drain valve means that servicing a Hotline water heater is a breeze. When it comes to quick, easy, and efficient domestic hot water, the Hotline truly shines.
Product Features
Amazing Durability
Hotline water heaters are built to withstand damage from within and without. To prevent scratches and gouges, Dunkirk wrapped the HL80SK in a steel jacket. The inner tank has two-fold protection against corrosion. The Hotline's cobalt porcelain enamel resists corrosion while a magnesium anode rod actively fights it.
Efficiency-Boosting Insulation
Heat loss is an efficiency killer. Two inches of foam insulation keep the water in your Hotline hot so you aren't paying twice for energy that you're using once.
Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
The Hotline's heat exchanger is designed for efficiency, reliability, and durability. Stainless steel construction improves the rate of heat transfer for fast, efficient hot water. The smooth, tubular design thwarts sediment buildup, which negatively impacts performance. Finally, like the inner tank, the Hotline's heat exchanger is coated in a cobalt porcelain enamel to discourage corrosion.
