Features

Crown's Bimini line of condensing boilers combines a wide array of premium features into a single boiler package. The advanced condensing technology is able to extract additional heat energy from the flue exhaust to dramatically increase efficiency. A cast aluminum heat exchanger takes advantage of both the heat transfer and flexibility properties of aluminum, improving both the efficiency and longevity of the heat exchanger. The Bimini comes with a touch screen control system that provides outdoor reset functionality as well as water flow priority functions. Sealed combustion technology keeps the warm air in your home where it is supposed to be instead of venting it through a chimney. A multitude of venting options round off the feature set of this versatile, efficient boiler.

    Product Features

    Cast Aluminum Heat Exchanger
The Bimini's heat exchanger takes advantage of both the flexibility and thermal efficiency of aluminum, squeezing every last BTU out of your fuel supply while reliably heating your home year after year.

    Power Venting System
The Crown Bimini boilers are designed for homes without a chimney or where the chimney cannot be used for venting. An exhaust fan is built into the boiler, which makes it perfect for side-wall venting arrangements.

    Included Honeywell SOLA Control
Honeywell's SOLA control is included stock with this Bimini, and acts as the "brain" of your home's heating equipment. The SOLA allows you to program everything from firing rate to altitude of operation, adjusting your boiler to perfectly fit your home and its environment.

Compatibility with Bimini Buddy Hydraulic Separator
All Residential Bimini boilers are compatible with the Bimini Buddy hydraulic separator, an accessory that provides the Bimini boiler with air elimination and water routing capabilities.

Medium Learn More
Medium
Medium refers to the substance that carries heat through the heating system. Systems are either designed to use either Hot Water or Steam as a medium, and components are usually specific to one or the other.
Hot Water
Fuel Type Learn More
Fuel Type
To create heat, some form of fuel is required. Fuel Type specifies what the product uses as an input to create heat.
Liquid Propane
Combustion Type Learn More
Combustion Type
Condensing appliances use leftover thermal energy from combustion gases to heat water in a secondary heat exchanger, resulting in higher efficiency and lower exhaust temperature.
Condensing
Vent Type Learn More
Vent Type
Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.
Direct Vent
DHW Production Learn More
DHW Production
DHW (Domestic Hot Water) is potable water for uses other than space heat. Some boilers are able to provide DHW "out of the box", while others can do so with the purchase of optional accessories.

Modulating/Staging Learn More
Modulating/Staging
Stages are unique speeds or levels that equipment can operate at. More stages allow for better fine-tuned control of output, which improves comfort and efficiency. Modulating equipment can operate across a range of levels, giving the highest level of fine-tuned control. Learn More
